Companies that process a high volume of online transactions have significant security risks and are attractive hacker targets. To thwart attacks, companies need security pros from the senior security engineer level up to the senior security manager level.

What it takes
Candidates who fit these jobs have experience in all facets of OS hardening, data leak prevention, anti-virus, encryption, firewalls, intrusion detection, intrusion prevention, fraud monitoring and prevention and more.

Compensation for these roles starts in the $90s for engineers and goes well above the mid-$100s for managers.
