An Apple trojan turns up

A new trojan disguised as Apple's iWork 09 productivity suite is circulating on peer-to-peer networks. The installer contains a package called iWorkServices.pkg, security firm Intego said in an alert Thursday. The malicious software connects to a remote server over the internet. That could mean that an attacker may be alerted that the trojan is installed on different Macs, and those machines could be exploited remotely. -- CAM
