Android users share their "rage" for free Windows Phone
Malicious applications, constant crashes, poor battery life. Android users have taken to Twitter to air their grievances, prompted by an unusual offer from Microsoft: Tweet your story of "#droidrage," and you might win a free Windows Phone. The offer, publicized by Ben Rudolph, Microsoft's Windows Phone evangelist, comes after researchers discovered that attackers over the weekend uploaded malware-laden copies of a number of popular apps, such as Angry Birds, to Google's official Android Market. Multiple users have since admitted to being affected by the rogue programs, which Google has removed, though researchers warn there could be more.
