Barracuda picks up Yosemite

Email and web security vendor Barracuda Networks announced Tuesday that it has acquired data backup and disaster recovery solutions provider Yosemite Technologies. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Barracuda claimed the acquisition will bolster its backup capabilities. This is the third acquisition Barracuda has made in the past four months -- the company previously acquired BitLeap (another data backup company), and the UK-based VPN provider 3SP. -- AM
