Border Guard (Intrusion prevention group test)

Our selection for the overall best product was a tie between the TippingPoint Unity One-200 and StillSecure's Border Guard. The products were easy and intuitive to install and offered lots of useful options. Our overall conclusion, however, was that most of the products we tested still have some maturing to do before they reach their full potential as robust, easy-to-manage network protection appliances. That is not to say that IPS appliances are of no use. They are and, we are certain, will become more useful with time.
