Five-year-old discovers Xbox bug, accesses dad’s account to play mature games

A man who works in computer security was admittedly proud when his five-year-old boy discovered an Xbox One vulnerability that allowed the young California gamer to log into his father's account and have fun with more mature games he is not supposed to play.

Kristoffer Von Hassel's parents saw him logging into dad's account sometime in December 2013, according to 10News. He did it by entering the wrong password on the login screen, and then entering multiple spaces in the password verification screen that popped up after.

Von Hassel and his father reported the bug to Microsoft and the tech company issued a fix, according to the report, which adds that the young vulnerability hunter also got past the toddler lock on a cell phone at the age of one.
