Microsoft asks: Are you cloud ready?

Microsoft on Tuesday announced the release of a survey that organizations can use to gauge their capability to migrate to the cloud. Dubbed the Cloud Security Readiness Tool, it's actually a 27-question survey "that assesses your current IT environment with regard to systems, processes, and productivity," according to Microsoft. Based on the responses, the questionnaire spits out vendor-neutral results, which include an evaluation of a company's security state, as well as best practices for cloud adoption, taking into account things like regulations. The free tool is available here.
