Report: Anonymous calls off Operation Cartel

Anonymous' plan to expose the information belonging to members of the dangerous Zetas drug cartel in Mexico is back off, after a kidnapped member of the hacktivist group has been released by the gang. Earlier this week, an Anonymous supporter and sometimes-spokesman, Barrett Brown, confirmed that the operation was on, but according to reports, that changed when the Zetas released the victim. In a tweet, Brown pledged that Anonymous will continue to attack other cartels.
