Seattle Public Schools is notifying parents that a law firm attained by the district to handle a complaint against the district inadvertently sent personal information on as few as 8,000 special education students to an individual involved in the case.

Details: The information was sent late Tuesday night. An active member of the Special Education PTSA told KING 5 that the information was mistakenly released to another PTSA member. That PTSA member notified Seattle Public Schools that he was given documents that had not been redacted.
