Cloud/security knowledge is in demand within such professions as network engineer, solutions architect, sales engineers and sales manager.

What it takes
A strong emphasis should be focused on your competency in understanding the impact on security as it relates to cloud technology.

Compensation
There seems to be about a 20 percent premium paid to those who grasp this. This means a position that may normally be $96K would be $100k if it is cloud related, and so on. That said, the more people who come on the market with this competency, the less the salary will be. First in wins!
