The demand for pros who can be a part of an incident response team is growing. 

What it takes

In demand are pros who can protect information systems against unauthorized use. This requires skills in intrusion detection, threat assessment, vulnerability assessment, incident tracking, analytical investigation and future security threat countermeasures. At the more senior level, the role may require technical leadership and architectural expertise in designing and implementing intrusion detection and prevention systems and network forensics.

Compensation

Salary ranges from $80k to $120k.
