Spears Twitter hack

The Twitter profile for pop star Britney Spears was hacked, according to published reports. The intruders, who apparently were able to access the singer's profile, posted a message claiming that Spears worshipped the devil. A later message apologized for the prior post. This is not the first time Spears has been victimized on the popular microblogging website. In June, hackers took advantage of a vulnerability in a third-party service through which users post photos to their Twitter profiles, which allowed pranksters to falsely report that she had died. -- DK
