Symantec acquires Mi5

Symantec announced Tuesday that it has acquired Mi5 Networks, a private company that sells web security gateway appliances. Symantec said in a news release that it expects the combination of its email gateway and endpoint security solutions with Mi5's web gateway technology can provide protection at entry points used for malware to infect network environments.
