How do the Awards work?
ADVANCE WARNING! - Make sure you go through and complete the payment page; otherwise we will not remember all your hard work!
There are four sections to the SC Magazine Awards Europe:
• Product Awards
• Excellence Awards
• Technology Awards
• Professional Awards
All sections have specific questions, which need answering as part of your online entry process.

Product Awards
There are 7 categories in this section; Best Anti-malware, Best Content Security, Best Network Security, Best Vulnerability Assessment, Best Identity Management, Best Remote Access, Best Security Management. Qualification questions, (which can be found on the Categories page) will be requested as part of your online process.
After entries have closed on, they will be reviewed by an independent and expert panel of judges who will then determine the Awards shortlist.
Excellence Awards
There are 4 categories in this section; Best SME Security Solution, Best Security Solution for Healthcare, Best Security Solution for Government, Best Security Solution for Financial Services. Qualification questions, (which can be found on the Categories page) will be requested as part of your online process.
All of which are judged by an independent and expert panel of judges.
Technology Awards
There are 2 categories in this section: Innovation Award, Security Product of the Year. Qualification questions, (which can be found on the Categories page) will be requested as part of your online process.
Professional Awards
There are 3 categories in this section; Best Security Company, CEO of the Year, and PR Company of the Year - NEW in 2008!
These categories are free of charge! Qualification questions, (which can be found on the Categories page) will be requested as part of your online process.
The winners will be announced at the SC Magazine Awards Europe dinner in April in London.
How do I enter?
The SC Magazine Awards Europe is an online entry process. Please ensure before you begin the entry process, that you have all relevant information to upload. Payment will be done online.
Please note: Until such time as you have completed the entry process, to the payment page our system will NOT 'remember' your entry.
Checklist:
• Company Details
• Client Company Details (if applicable)
• Product/Service Name
• Website (if applicable)
• Answers to relevant 'Qualification Questions.' Questions can be found on the 'Categories' Page under the relevant section.
• Image of entering product or Service - this must be in high-resolution jpeg/eps format. It may be used for the Awards AV Presentation and/or in the 'Book of the Night' which is given out on the awards evening and will be an insert into the May 2008 issue of SC Magazine. It could be a box shot/screen grab/photo.

Why should I enter?
If you win a SC Award, you win more than just the respect of your colleagues. The power of these Awards is that they give you a unique marketing advantage over your competitors. For example, as a winner of 'Best Security Company' you can market yourselves as 'Best Security Company of the Year 2008' No other awards offer this cachet.
How much does it cost?
For each entry there is a fee. Payment details are to be found online as part of your entry process. All payments are made by credit card online or you may request to be invoiced. If you would like to pay by invoice, you must provide a Purchase Order number. If you are a marketing or PR Company entering on behalf of your client, please ensure you indicate which company you wish to be invoiced. Please note only Professional Awards are free of charge.

European Awards: £140 + VAT
Late Entries
Late entries will be accepted until 30 November 2007 with an additional surcharge of £35 (Total fee £175) + VAT.
