SEA claims hack on Army website

An attack Monday on the official website for the U.S. Army by hackers claiming to be with the Syrian Electronic Army (SEA) did not compromise informations officials said, according to an NBC News report.

The attackers, who claimed responsibility on Twitter, left pro-Assad messages on the Army website, including "YOU'VE BEEN HACKED" and "YOUR COMMANDERS ADMIT THEY ARE TRAINING THE PEOPLE THEY HAVE SENT YOU TO DIE FIGHTING," screenshots posted by the group showed.

The Army took the site offline on Monday to ensure that information had not been breached. The website contained only general information, the report said.
