SC Magazine was honored with two awards at ASBPE's 30th annual Azbee Awards of Excellence banquet on July 24 in Kansas City, Mo. In the annual competition, for ASBPE's National Awards we received the top honor, Gold Award, in the Annual Buyer's Guide category for our Reboot issue. And for ASBPE's Regional Awards, we received a Bronze in the Original Research category for our Salary Survey. The awards mentioned our editor-in-chief, Illena Armstrong, Brian Jackson, our art director, and Greg Masters, managing editor.

ASBPE is the professional association for editors and writers in business and specialty publishing. The organization's yearly awards contest is quite competitive and, this year, saw over 2,300 entries. It recognizes the best in editorial, design and online achievement.

The competition is open to U.S.-based business-to-business, trade, association and professional magazines, web and newsletter/e-newsletter publications, and their editorial and design staff and contributors.
