Video: The prevalence of spam

Spam has always been a nuisance, but as the threat landscape continues to shift, its purpose is beginning to change. While it was initially a way to get users to click and spend money in various ways, now spam is being used as a vehicle to send bigger threats. Targeted phishing campaigns have already proven successful with recent espionage campaigns against the New York Times and Wall Street Journal.
