SC Magazine has completed a website redesign that offers a sharper look, new capabilities and a more seamless design so readers can better locate and enjoy the content that matters to them.

Still providing the in-depth, unbiased business and technical insight on which information security pros have to come to rely to tackle the many data security challenges they face day to day, the site has been updated to enable visitors to quickly find the up-to-the-minute news, comprehensive features and lab-tested product reviews they seek.

Readers can now access key sections of the latest issue through a quick scroll-down menu at the top of the homepage. Also at the top of this page, visitors will see thumbnails of new features, columns, slideshows and other offerings that allow for quick links to the full content associated with them.

Other highly trafficked sections of the site, such as those hosting product reviews and Group Tests, have seen improvement, too. Now, visitors can search monthly product tests in various ways: by seeking out the Group Test or First Look published in the magazine, by the quarterly Emerging Products, or by simply accessing the Product Index, which compartmentalizes by product type the tools and solutions reviewed by the SC Lab team.

From a mobile standpoint, the new site will instantly configure to the screen size of readers' devices. Given the growing number of our audience who are accessing our site via smartphones and tablets, this will prove an easier and more gratifying experience when accessing our content.

As the threat landscape continues to evolve, security experts are in need of a ready and reliable source that offers expert advice and timely information, Illena Armstrong, VP of editorial for SC Magazine, said.

"Our readers know that's what SC Magazine is all about," she said.

In addition to the redesign, SC Magazine will be launching a new mobile application – available across iOS and Android platforms – that will provide mobile users with quick access to breaking news, features, blogs and opinions. Following the new website design, it will have excellent search and archive features, and will come with the added benefit of responsiveness to the device being used by visitors.
