Apple released two updates on Tuesday, one for OS X Yosemite and the other for iOS.
The OS X Yosemite v10.10.1 Update improves reliability when a user makes a Wi-Fi connection or connects to a Microsoft Exchange server, according to Apple's update release. This is the first update since the operating system upgrade was released. It also resolves specific issues, including one that might have prevented Mail from sending messages through certain email providers.
In its iOS 8.1.1 update, Apple addressed eight vulnerabilities, the company wrote in its release. One could have let a website cache not full clear after leaving a private browsing session. Another remedied one could have allowed an attacker to exceed the maximum number of failed passcode attempts.
