Imperva appoints Geraldine Elliot to board of directors

Tech executive and Broadrooms founder Geraldine “Gerri” Elliot was appointed by cyber security solutions firm Impeva to its board of directors.

Elliot's management experience includes being executive vice president and chief customer officer at Juniper Networks, holding several executive positions at Microsoft and 22 years at IBM.

"Gerri is a well-respected executive in the high tech industry, bringing more than 30 years of experience in sales, services, customer support and strategy development to our Board,” said Anthony Bettencourt, President and CEO of Imperva in a written release.

Elliot has served on the board for several corporations including Whirlpool and Bed, Bath and Beyond.

She founded Broadrooms, a site dedicated to women who serve or want to serve on corporate boards. Elliot also is on the advisory board for BoardList, the Silicon Valley initiative to increase the number of women on tech boards.
