Prosimo enhances platform with zero-trust, AI functionalities

Prosimo, the creator of the multi-cloud security platform Application eXperience Infrastructure, announced that it has upgraded its offering with artificial intelligence operations-enhanced networking and zero-trust security functionality, SDxCentral reports. AXI, which currently runs on Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure and other public clouds, provides automated routing of application and user traffic across the private backbones of their users’ cloud provider. The latest update to the AXI App Transit service optimizes its traffic routing and optimization capabilities to a greater degree using machine learning. This optimization is done on a per-application basis and also allows Prosimo to automatically determine the most ideal optimizations to use and which segmentation policy to enforce for security. Mani Ganesan, Prosimo’s head of product, said the updates are intended to address users’ reported struggles with configuration and performance on multi-cloud networks. The new machine learning functionality also helps Prosimo with its Dynamic Compliance service, enabling customers to apply zero-trust network access security policy that restricts access to certain applications or workload based on location, identity and other factors.
