SolarWinds new software-as-a-service based IT management offering, called Observability, has launched, according to Network World. The cloud-native service gives customers a holistic overview of their IT systems via a unified interface through which they can monitor network, database sources, infrastructure and application data, while implementing machine learning-powered anomaly detection technology to ensure security, according to the company. Observability has gained prominence in the current market due to the growing shift toward cloud and hybrid cloud deployments, which created the need for solutions to address the rising complexity of enterprises IT infrastructure. [W]ere laying the foundation for autonomous operations through both monitoring and observability solutions, SolarWinds Chief Product Officer Rohini Kasturi said in a statement. With our Hybrid Cloud Observability and SolarWinds Observability offerings, customers have ultimate flexibility to deploy on a private cloud, public cloud, or as a service. The company says the service is currently available on Azure and AWS clouds and a Google Cloud version is in development for a 2023 launch, while a hybrid-cloud version can be deployed in users data centers.
