New Swimlane Cloud offers low-code platform for automated security

Swimlane has unveiled its new software-as-a-service, Swimlane Cloud, which provides security automation capabilities on a low-code platform, according to IT Pro.

The new solution allows security teams to create complex automation use cases and centralize operation data as a system of record, all while avoiding tediousness and data overload.

"Security teams today are challenged to keep up with the deluge of tasks associated with security processes across the entire organization and to keep top security talent highly engaged," the company said.

"With this launch, we enable anyone at any organization to contribute their knowledge and expertise to the protection of the organization," added Swimlane's co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer Cody Cornell.

Swimlane Cloud leverages the company's on-premises offering to provide users with self-service dashboards, granular reporting and extensive visualization capabilities in order to gain insights into their security performance, value and capacity, as well as a range of security features including role-based access control, two-factor authentication and SAML/SSO.

The new platform launched alongside Swimlane's Medley Partner Program and may be deployed in cloud, on-premises, air-gapped and hybrid environments.
