Rap artist busted on credit card fraud charges

Charles Williamson, a California rapper also known as "Guerilla Black," has been charged with buying 27,257 stolen credit card numbers and making fraudulent purchases, the U.S. attorney's office in Seattle said Thursday. The card numbers he bought had been stolen by two criminals who hacked point-of-sale terminals at Seattle-area restaurants, prosecutors. Williamson was charged with access device fraud, bank fraud and aggravated identity theft. If convicted, he faces up to 47 years in prison and $1.5 million in fines.
