Cyber threat intelligence sharing org unveiled by Motorola

Motorola Solutions has introduced the Public Safety Threat Alliance, a Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency-recognized cyber threat intelligence sharing and analysis organization aimed at providing public safety agencies various data in an effort to help them bolster their cybersecurity posture and resilience, according to SecurityWeek. With CISA as its National Coordinator for Critical Infrastructure Security and Resilience, the PSTA gathers information from law enforcement agencies, commercial security products, mobile communications systems, EMS, and ISAO partners to develop actionable intelligence, including dark web intelligence, threat lists, SOC intelligence, and managed detection and response infromation, said Motorola. "The establishment of the Public Safety Threat Alliance fills a critical void, creating a single entity entirely focused on the collection, analysis, production and sharing of actionable public safety-focused cyber threat information and intelligence," said CISA Emergency Communications Executive Assistant Director Billy Bob Brown, Jr., who added that the PSTA would help public safety organizations better prioritize cyber threat intelligence initiatives.
