Brown out as eEye CEO

Ross Brown, in the top management position at eEye Digital Security for less than a year, is out as vulnerability management vendor's chief executive.

Brown, announced as the firm’s top officer last September, has left the company, eEye spokesman Jay Nichols confirmed on Tuesday.

Nichols said the firm would have more information on personnel moves later today.

Brown was listed as CEO earlier today on the company’s website. Prior to becoming CEO, he had been eEye’s COO as well as vice president of worldwide sales and channel operations at Citrix Systems.

eEye announced a shake-up in its management team just seven months ago, moving Firas Bushnaq, formerly CEO and CTO, to chairman of the company’s board of directors.

March Maiffret, then chief hacking officer, added CTO to his title in the reorganization, and Kamal Arafeh was appointed senior vice president of worldwide sales and marketing.
