Computer hacker disrupts Washington water utility

The FBI has announced that it has traced a hacker whodisrupted business operations at the Neton-Washington waterassociation to Sri Lanka.

According to the Associated Press newswire, utility manager Scott Borman said that the multiple hacking attempts, which downed the utility's server for three days, have been traced to a Sri Lankan ISP.

As yet, no arrests have been made.

The water utility said the hacker planted a number of files on its system, causing the email server to repeatedly crash, keeping the machine offline.
