Zero trust is an approach to security that moves defenses from statically defined network perimeters to explicitly identified assets and users. The transition to zero trust is a journey, not a product—and most organizations already have many elements of a zero trust architecture in their enterprise today. We will review key tenets of zero trust and discuss pragmatic steps to improve security and move forward on a journey toward a zero trust future.
