Dekart Security Suite comprises four separate applications that support all 32-bit versions of Windows and share the same two-factor authentication feature, which uses a PIN code and a USB token or smart card. You can use most third-party tokens and smart cards. Additionally, most types of Bio API and HA API compatible biometric verification devices are supported.
Private Disk creates one or more secure virtual disks within an existing disk. Files and folders stored in such a disk are automatically encrypted. Without the token and PIN, the disk space is invisible to other users of the PC. Using the AES encryption algorithm, with a key length of 128 bits, it works on network drives, all local disks and removable media, including Flash memory cards and memory sticks.
Secrets Keeper is a security solution for the Windows Explorer and Microsoft Office environment and can encrypt any kind of file. Again, the token and PIN code are required to access the encrypted documents. Secrets Keeper adds two additional icons to the main menu bar within Microsoft Office applications to make it easy to encrypt and decrypt documents. Operation is transparent because encrypted documents may also be opened simply by double clicking on their icons in Windows Explorer. Secrets Keeper uses 256-bit AES and the 160-bit SHA hash algorithm.
Dekart Logon is designed to provide an additional level of security for the Microsoft Windows operating system and Active Directory. Yet again, the familiar token and PIN are required to gain access. You can also choose to have Windows access blocked once the key is removed and during a screen-saver timeout - this automatically protects machines that may be left unattended temporarily.
RSA Cryptographic Provider offers digital signatures and encryption within Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express emails, as well as access to protected web sites. Also included is the facility to manage and migrate keys and certificates in a PKI environment. RSA Cryptographic Provider's encryption keys can be stored within the Windows environment or on a token.
