Upgrades unveiled for Microsoft’s Azure platform

Microsoft took the opportunity at its Build 2022 developer conference to showcase several updates to its Azure cloud platform that provide new capabilities for Azure migration, cloud-native applications and big data, according to SiliconANGLE. Among the announcements were an update to Microsofts Azure API Management service with support for Azure Private Link, allowing users to secure their traffic using a virtual network. Microsoft also launched managed certificate support in general availability, which enables users to generate managed, provisioned and automatically renewed free security certificates for their custom domains.The company also annnounced the launch of Azure Communication Services Mobile UI Library in general availability, granting developers access to a range of user interface components they can use on their mobile applications in development. It features support for 13 languages, UI components accessibility and shared screen content viewing. Microsoft also unveiled updates to Azure App Service, which now has support for Google Remote Procedure calls and further migration capabilities in the near future.
