Aqua Security unveils platform security console

SiliconANGLE reports that Aqua Security Software has rolled out its new Aqua Platform cloud-native, unified security console, which offers a single interface from which users can manage Aqua Security’s cloud security posture management and cloud workload protection tools. Through Aqua Platform, Aqua Security customers will be able to automate their apps’ security and compliance posture, control access and monitor usage, as well as track their container activity in real time to detect and address attacks and other suspicious activities, the company said. The platform also allows automated enforcement of regulatory compliance and security processes through integration with application lifecycle and orchestration tools. The new platform reflects a shift in desire among users toward tools that offer full control and visibility over their cloud applications, said Aqua Security co-founder and Chief Technology Officer Amir Jerbi. “Organizations recognize the need to protect workloads at runtime and Aqua is keeping pace with that demand, bringing more unification without compromising scalability,” Jerbi said. “Other solutions require multiple screens and consoles or provide visibility without options for workload protection or response.”
