Fraud, bot detection provider SecuredTouch sold to Ping Identity

Identity and access management services provider Ping Identity has announced its acquisition of SecuredTouch, a Tel Aviv, Israel-based provider of fraud and bot detection solutions, for undisclosed terms, according to ZDNet.

With the acquisition, SecuredTouch will be integrated into Ping Identity’s PingOne Cloud Platform and will give its users the ability to monitor their digital assets more effectively for potentially malicious activities, including bot attacks and account takeover attempts, using SecuredTouch’s artificial intelligence, behavioral biometrics, deep learning and machine learning capabilities. SecuredTouch will also continue to be available as a standalone product.

“Identity isn’t just about knowing who customers are, it’s about knowing when someone is pretending to be a customer," said Andre Durand, founder and CEO of Ping Identity.

Ping Identity also took the announcement of its acquisition as an opportunity to unveil a major expansion to its PingOne platform, which now allows users to use a unified cloud admin the access the full Ping Identity portfolio for customer and workforce identity use cases.
