Yahoo Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) Alex Stamos and security expert Troy Hunt will be keynote speakers at the Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) AppSec USA 2015 conference this September in San Francisco.
In addition to his work at Yahoo, Stamos previously founded Artemis Internet and co-founded iSEC Partners. He is also an expert in cloud computing, internet infrastructure and mobile security. Hunt, a software architect for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals' Emerging Markets, has been building web applications in the media, finance and healthcare industries for more than a decade. He is also the author of high-rated courses on Pluralsight and has been awarded Microsoft's Most Valuable Professional award for developer security five times.
OWASP Global Board Member Michael Coates said the keynote lineup at the event will "speak to software security risks and best practices for the hands on practitioners and the C-suite."
