Indiana man indicted for illicit ‘Deep Web’ drug sales

Lee Gray, aka Supremesmoke, was indicted in Indiana earlier this week on federal charges of drug trafficking and money laundering for his selling of narcotics via black market websites on the Deep Web.

According to a release, Gray was charged with using Black Bank – an underground marketplace that is not accessible via standard search engines and where users can remain anonymous – to sell heroin and other drugs, receiving bitcoins as payment.

The release said Gray offered express shipping for $25 to $30, as well as free first class shipping. He allegedly opened multiple bank accounts under various names and received wires from overseas companies that offered bitcoin exchange services.

If convicted, the 40-year-old Camby, Ind. man faces jail time of up to 20 years on each count.
