Lizard Squad begins selling DDoS tool for commercial use

The group behind attacks on Sony's Playstation Network and Microsoft's Xbox Live systems is offering up a distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) tool that customers can use to attack any entity they desire.

Lizard Squad's “Lizard Stresser” tool went live on Tuesday and one member told the Daily Dot that this would be the group's final move before its members “vanish off back to the caves where we came from.” Attacks can cost between $6 and $500, depending on the length and number of attacks.

For instance, for $130 per month, a customer can have 30,000 seconds of attack, and for $500, customers have no limit on the number of attacks they can launch.

The group accepts bitcoin payments, but said on its Twitter that it will also begin accepting PayPal in the near future.
