Hinkley to replace founder Grossman as WhiteHat CEO

WhiteHat has named Craig Hinkley as CEO, replacing company founder, Jeremiah Grossman, who has served as interim CEO since the departure of Stephanie Fohn in 2014.

Hinkley brings more than 20 years of executive experience to the leadership position, including a tenure as vice president and general manager with TIBCO Software, according to a release. Prior to joining TIBCO, Hinkley served as the general manger at Hewlett-Packard and also has worked for Cisco Systems and Bank of America.

With Grossman at the helm, WhiteHat has seen a boost in revenue, higher customer retention rates, as well as increased innovation. The company founder, who had served as WhiteHat's CTO since 2004, will retrain his focus on developing security technology, product innovation, and strategy.
