In a protest of new Italian labor laws, Anonymous Italia and LulzSec ITA leaked a data dump, which they claim contains four million records, and launched cyberattacks against several job seeking web portals.
The hacktivists announced the leak on April 9 as part of operation #NessunDorma, which means “None shall sleep” and claim the records include half a million job-seeker evaluations and 7,000 contact details including personal information of CEOs from major companies, according to Techworm.
“The new labour laws mean poor wage for workers, more profit for corporations and more government and union corruptions,” the groups said in a press release written in Italian and cited by Techworm.
The groups also released a list of 45 companies targeted in the attacks.
All of information was reportedly stolen from the server of Milan-based web agency, Engitel, which allegedly built all of the hacked websites.
