Funding round brings in $33M for Balance Theory

SiliconAngle reports that Balance Theory, which offers a cybersecurity collaboration platform, has landed $3 million in a seed funding round. Aside from allowing the storage of key cybersecurity data in a centralized repository, the platform also enables integrations with widely used cybersecurity systems to facilitate cybersecurity infrastructure data streaming to the platform, as well as automated information updates in the event of modifications in its configuration. Various data assets could also be shared between cybersecurity professionals and different organizations through the platform, according to Balance Theory. "Balance Theorys approach to driving connectivity and secure collaboration both within and between organizations has the potential to redefine the way security work gets done dramatically impacting the entire cyber industry for the better. With increasing collaboration between government and private companies as well as a greater focus on cyber risk across industries and supply chains, the idea of collective defense continues to gain traction," said DataTribe Managing Director John Funge.
