Patrick Conte has joined Teneros as the application continuity provider's executive vice president and general manager of field operations. Conte previously led market strategy at Topspin Communications, acquired by Cisco in May 2005. Prior to that position, he held sales roles at Cobalt Networks and Sun Microsystems.

Secure Data Group has launched. The Irvine, Calif.-based firm provides comprehensive enterprise solutions for data management and recovery, compliance services and information security. The company, a division of Bell Microproducts, is well positioned to expand throughout Southern California.

IntelliVid has announced that Robert Walters is joining as vice president of sales and Myra Hart has been named to the video-analysis software company's Board. Walters most recently served as executive vice president of sales at Datavantage, an information technology provider for retailers. Hart, one of four founding officers of Staples, has been director of Office Depot since 2004.
