LogLogic and Counterpane Internet Security have teamed up to provide a new compliance and risk mitigation service. The joint offering will deliver an enterprise-class log management and intelligence platform as the basis for the service. The companies will engage in joint sales and marketing of the partnership.
St. Bernard Software announced a new security solution for resellers called the ProPartner Program. The program offers value-added resellers a limit on the number of partners it can have in an area, as well as renewal and cross marketing protection, according to a statement form the company.
SenSage and EMC Centera have partnered to produce a new compliance package. The SenSage Security Compliance Bundle ships in three scalable configurations for under $200,000. The bundle includes a SenSage Enterprise Security Analytics system, a SenSage compliance package and a 4- or 8-node EMC Centera storage system.
Axalto and MetaPass have been working together to provide a new identification system. The new program combines Axalto ID tokens or Cyberflex Access smart cards with MetaPass' Single Sign-on software. The new product allows users to access multiple PCs, applications and networks without the use of multiple passwords, the companies said.

Sweden Post is currently carrying out an initiative to replace its handheld devices and system solutions by the summer of 2006. TV2, a Norwegian television network has announced it is using IMlogic's IM Manager to stop message-based malware and viruses. TV2 said in a statement that the program has prevented numerous IM attacks since it was installed in May.
Qualys announced a free network scanning service in response to the vulnerabilities listed in the SANS Top 20. The company, which works with the SANS Institute to develop the list, said client-side threats have vastly grown in the past year.
