Rather than work on research and teaching, Cidon threw himself into the security industry and tackled one of the most practical and common of security issues: email malware.
Cidon and his team at Barracuda Networks found that many customers read all the negative news about ransomware and phishing attacks, but they had no idea what exposure level their organization had to these threats or what to do about it in a way that could make a difference.
Cidon's has proven success with Barracuda and in addition to his work developing the free tool, Cidon always makes himself available to help educate and train young people in the security industry.
