Army Teams Up With HackerOne in Bug Bounty Challenge

The U.S. Army is calling on eligible white hat hackers to penetrate its systems to enhance its security in the coming weeks.

Teaming up with HackerOne, the recently announced bug bounty challenge, dubbed “Hack The U.S. Army,” is aimed at uncovering vulnerabilities in Army recruiting sites, in addition to core operational systems. Thanks to the success of the “Hack the Pentagon” bug bounty pilot, this new initiative is part of an expanded cybersecurity efforts led by the Department of Defense. The “Hack the Pentagon” program led to 138 vulnerabilities being patched during the 24-day pilot.
