Best Cybersecurity Higher Education Program | Champlain College

In 2020, Champlain College was awarded grants and government contracts that totaled more than $3.5 million.

Champlain College undergraduate students are well-prepared for future careers in cybersecurity because they spend four intensive years fully immersed in the information security field learning from – and working alongside — industry experts.

The college’s students take more industry-specific courses than at any other higher-ed program in the country. These courses are developed and taught by industry experts who base their content and projects on today’s industry best practices using the software and tools being utilized in the field today.

Because the college’s students dive right into their programs, they receive more training and are fully-prepared to start developing professional risk management plans as soon as they enter the field. And Champlain College students don't require an advanced degree to do this work.

“Students engage in hands-on, pragmatic projects, leading-edge research, and work in state-of-the-art laboratories, which means they acquire the knowledge and skills that immediately provide value to employers and/or jump start career transitions for those who are new to the field,” said the college in its entry.
