Democratic congressional intern arrested for doxing GOP senators during Kavanaugh hearing

The United States Capitol Police arrested a 27-year-old former Democratic congressional intern for doxxing at least one U.S. senator during recent testimony by Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh and Christine Blasey Ford, who had accused him of sexual assault while the two were teenagers.

Jackson A. Cosko, who last worked for Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, D-Texas, was charged with publicly revealing restricted personal information, witness tampering, interstate communications threats, identity theft, second degree burglary and unlawful entry.

As the Senate Judiciary Committee heard from Kavanaugh and Blasey Ford September 27, Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, and Mike Lee, R-Utah, were doxed on Wikipedia.

Their home addresses, cellphone numbers and other personal information were revealed on the site as the committee questioned Kavanaugh and Ford during an often contentious and emotional hearing.

A staffer for Sen. Maggie Hassan, D-N.H., for whom Cosko had previously worked, caught Cosko entering her office Tuesday night, Politico reported, and called the police.
