Florida state to educate on internet dangers

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has launched a campaign to educate businesses and consumers about the dangers of the internet.

Statewide training seminars have been scheduled to increase awareness about cyber crimes such as identity theft, stalking and viruses.

The seminars, which kick off later this month, will cover a variety of
topics ranging from safe e-mail practices to recognising internet
scams.

In a statement announcing the program, Governor Jeb Bush, the brother of the US President, said that cyber security is a critical issue for every citizen and the C-SAFE course will provide them tools and tips on how they can make their systems safer and protect their data.
