Lingerie seller’s ecommerce server compromised, credit cards at risk

Lingerie seller Intimacy Bra Fit Stylists is notifying an undisclosed number of individuals that its ecommerce server was compromised and that personal information may have been misappropriated.

How many victims? Undisclosed.

What type of personal information? Names, credit card numbers, credit card expiration dates and card verification values.

What happened? Intimacy's ecommerce server was compromised, and the personal information may have been misappropriated.

What was the response? Law enforcement is aiding in an ongoing investigation. Intimacy is enhancing its security policies, procedures and practices. All potentially affected individuals are being notified, and offered a free year of identity theft protection and credit monitoring services.

Details: Intimacy discovered on May 5 that its ecommerce server had been compromised. The investigation revealed that code was inserted on the ecommerce server. U.S. customers may have been affected if they placed or attempted to place an order at myintimacy.com between Dec. 15, 2014, and April 30.
