Summary

Encentuate IAM suite has many well-developed features that cover the full spectrum of administrator deployment and end-user authentication. The product allows enterprises secure single sign-on (SSO), session management, workflow automation, and audit and compliance, all surrounded by seamless, strong multifactor authentication and SSO.

Encentuate also provides users with the ability to authenticate via terminal services, Citrix and web browsers for added security. “Super Fast Switching” allows multiple users to work from the same workstation with just the swipe of an RFID chip over the iTag reader without a drop in workstation performance. The Web Workplace feature allows users to authenticate to the corporate VPN and gain access to all applications, including remote desktops on their workstations from any internet accessible remote location without having an agent installed on that device.

Encentuate has made this product straightforward both to use and administer. Administration is done from a web GUI interface where the administrator accesses the user management portal to assign user logon credentials with pull-down policy menus and drag-and-drop workflow applications.

Performance was trouble-free from both an administrator and user perspective. The product is customizable and incorporates various unique requirements for logon screens and banners. The product is flexible and integrates with other third-party provisioning suites or is customizable to perform ID management on its own. Encentuate uses Active Directory to pull user credentials in an easy-to-use format to make administration more efficient.

The installation and technical manuals are well written and easy to navigate for fast retrieval of information. The use of screen shots and illustrations is helpful during the deployment and administration of this product.

Encentuate offers premium support 24/7. However, there are no self-support features available on the website.

Encentuate offers a quick start program for multifactor authentication, single sign-on, session management and audit and compliance, including one full year of maintenance, starting at $20,000.
