H4LT hacking team leaks secret Xbox One SDK, accesses unreleased games

Xbox One's software development kit (SDK) was reportedly accessed by a hacking group known as H4LT, which released the proprietary information that could allow unapproved developers to create homemade games for the console.

The group posted a link to the SDK on its Twitter page, in addition to screenshots of the kit, according to a report by The Independent.

The leak could potentially lead developers to produce and share games for the gamins system via unofficial channels.

Additionally, the group also claims it got access to early builds of games that have yet to be released.

A recent system implement by Microsoft allows for developers to store early versions of games in the cloud. The account believed to have been compromised by the group gives access to files uploaded by 343 Industries, which produces the highly anticipated game Halo 5.
