Liam Lynch is a 27-year veteran of the information security industry. He has worked in many areas of information security – including military, government, health care, and e-commerce.

During the nine years he worked in e-commerce, he started as the chief security architect for eBay, the world’s largest e-commerce company, where he was responsible for security architecture for technology conversions to adopt Sarbanes-Oxley and PCI compliance. As well, he created several patents in the e-commerce security space. Lynch was chief security strategist at eBay and is active as a founding member of the Cloud Security Alliance, and the Permanent Stakeholder Group of ENISA (European Network and Information Security Agency).

He is now CISO at Inkiru, a company that produces technology with a strong ability in analytics for a variety of industry needs.
