James has over 26 years of experience in information technology in a variety of leadership roles.  He has 15 years of direct experience as an information security leader and is currently the Chief Information Security Officer at GE Capital Americas and the Information Security Divestiture Leader for GE Capital.  He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), and also Six Sigma Quality certified. 

Edna Conway serves as Cisco's Chief Security Officer for its Global Value Chain. In this capacity, she develops and oversees the deployment of Cisco's strategy to assess, monitor, and continuously improve the security and resiliency of its global value chain. Cisco's Value Chain Security Program spans its Supply Chain Operations, Engineering, Worldwide Partner and Services organizations. In addition, Conway drives Cisco's supply chain cyber and security protection plan through its suppliers and channel partners.

With more than 20 years of IT security industry experience, Curry is responsible for driving the product strategy for the company's award-winning platform, as well as overall product management, innovation and operational excellence. Curry joined Cybereason from Arbor Networks, where he served as the Chief Technology and Security Officer. He was responsible for the development and implementation of Arbor's technology, security and innovation roadmap. Previously, he spent more than seven years at RSA (the Security Division of EMC) in a variety of senior management positions, including Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Technologist and Senior Vice President of Product Management and Product Marketing. Curry has also held senior roles at Microstrategy, Computer Associates and McAfee in addition to several startups.

Gene Fredriksen, CISO for PSCU, has over 25 years of IT experience, with the last 20 focused on Information Security. Fredriksen held the positions of Global CISO for Tyco International, Principal Consultant for Security and Risk Management Strategies for Burton Group, Vice President of Technology Risk Management and Chief Security Officer for Raymond James Financial, headquartered in St. Petersburg, Florida, and Information Security Manager for American Family Insurance. He served as the Chair of the Security and Risk Assessment Steering Committee for BITS, as well as serving on the R&D committee for the Financial Services Sector Steering Committee of the Department of Homeland Security. He is a member of the SC Magazine Editorial Advisory Board and attended the FBI Citizens Academy.

Bio Ben Johnson is co-founder and chief security strategist for Carbon Black. As original CTO, he led efforts to create the powerful capabilities that helped define the next-generation endpoint security space. Currently Mr. Johnson spends a lot of his time evangelizing and strategizing with partners, customers, and the media. Prior to Carbon Black, Mr. Johnson was a NSA computer scientist and later worked as a cyber engineer in an advanced intrusion operations division for the intelligence community. In addition to his day job, Ben teaches an Entrepreneurship in Technology master's course in the University of Chicago's computer science department.

Limor Kessem is one of the top cyber intelligence experts at IBM Security. She is a seasoned security advocate, public speaker, and a regular blogger on the cutting-edge IBM Security Intelligence blog. Limor is considered an authority on emerging cybercrime threats. She participated as a highly appreciated speaker on live InfraGard New York webcasts (an FBI collaboration), spoke in RSA events worldwide, conducts live webinars on all things fraud and cybercrime, and writes a large variety of threat intelligence publications. With her unique position at the intersection of multiple research teams at IBM, and her fingers on the pulse of current day threats, Limor covers the full spectrum of trends affecting consumers, corporations, and the industry as a whole. Amy Mushahwar is an experienced data privacy, security, and management attorney with nearly 20 years of experience in the technology industry in both legal and technical capacities. Amy's practice focuses on data security, cyber risk, and privacy issues. As both a lawyer and former technologist, Amy is adept at helping clients unravel complex systems structure to fully understand legal and regulatory risk.

Amol Sarwate heads Qualys' worldwide security engineering team responsible for vulnerability and compliance research. He has devoted his career to protecting, securing and educating the community from security threats. Sarwate has presented his research on vulnerability trends, security axioms, SCADA security, credit card malware, exploits and other security topics at numerous security conferences. He is a contributing author for SC Magazine and holds a US patent for Systems and Methods for Performing Remote Configuration Compliance Assessment of a Networked Computer Device.

Jérôme Segura is Lead Malware Intelligence Analyst at Malwarebytes. He has over 10 years' experience in information security and his specialties are malvertising, exploit kits, and malware analysis. Other professional accomplishments include building honeypots to capture drive-by download attacks and for a short while diving into server side security, by cleaning up and hardening hacked websites. As part of his online investigations, he regularly collaborates with other industry members to report malicious activity and share threat intelligence. Finally, he has a special interest in identifying scams and has worked with the FTC as an expert witness to take down tech support scammers after getting personally bothered by some.

John Shier is a Senior Security Expert at Sophos. John is a popular presenter at security events, and is well-known for the clarity of his advice, even on the most complex security topics. John doesn't just talk the talk: he also gives hands-on technical support and product education to Sophos partners and customers.

Stu Sjouwerman (pronounced “shower-man”) is the founder and CEO of KnowBe4, Inc., which hosts the world's most popular integrated Security Awareness Training and Simulated Phishing platform. A serial entrepreneur and data security expert with more than 30 years in the IT industry, Sjouwerman was the co-founder of Inc. 500 company Sunbelt Software, a multiple award-winning anti-malware software company that was acquired 2010.

Larry Whiteside Jr. currently serves as vice president of healthcare and critical infrastructure in the Office of the CISO at Optiv. In this role, Whiteside focuses on helping security executives in these focus areas develop a comprehensive security program that balances risk and aligns with the overall business goals. He is responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive suite of strategic services and solutions to help executives improve their security strategies through innovation. Whiteside also is co-founder and executive vice president of the International Consortium of Minority Cybersecurity Professionals (ICMCP).

John Johnson

Dr. John Johnson is a founding member of the Security Advisor Alliance (501c.3), a member of SC Media Editorial Board, and serves on advisory boards for innovative security startups. He spent 17 years as security architect for a Fortune 100 global manufacturing company, where he managed infrastructure and developed strategy and secure architecture solutions for protecting a global corporate network, endpoints, industrial systems and the supply chain.
